RE:imagining CHURCH
We imagine a new era, a new movement that will one day define our city and the region. We can picture an emergence of lives, families, neighborhoods, communities that experience a holistic formation of their understanding of God and life. We are a community that wants to be involved in this God-work!
We are not a church gathered to pick apart other churches. We are also not a church that believes we are the only ones doing church “right”. We have begun under the humble realization that we will not do everything perfect---and we know that we may have moments where we falter in the same ways has other churches have in the past. WE ARE NOT THE PERFECT CHURCH.
We do bring a desire to RE:IMAGINE what matters about the Church and what life is to be as followers of the Jesus Christ. We believe this “reimagining” is a process that is good for all of us---whether you consider yourself a Christ follower or not. There is a constant reshaping of life---and in many ways, this reshaping brings refreshment to us and to our world. Many of the things our world aches for, justice, community, life that matters, is found in the life with God and the life with others. But, many times our lives—and churches are so filled with unthinking, unwilling, and unchanging people who have ideals that do not sync with Christ.

Be in our journey to rethinking the community you founded. Guide our hearts and minds to live out the life you lived. Let us live out love for you and love for others, and love for enemy in this day, in this city, in our world.
