God's ultimate purpose is to rid the world of evil altogether and to establish his new creation of justice, beauty and peace... This was not intended simply as a distant goal... God's future had already broken into the present in Jesus, and the church's task consists not least of implementing that achievement and thus anticipating that future. - NT Wright

Our World
As Fusion emerged in Oklahoma City, we were compelled to immediately set our focus beyond our city--beyond the starting of a church. We were very aware of God's heart for all nations--and had been shaped by a belief that we must be intentional about thinking, praying, and going to other people groups. We also knew that if we waited until our community was larger or more established we would run the risk of never again thinking globally. In our mind, there was no option . . . ACTION MUST BE IMMEDIATE.

Therefore, we set out to find a people whom had real needs we could serve in locations maybe few were willing to go. Over the next three years we would spend time serving, going, and praying for the local people living throughout the Himalayas.

While the story is much longer than this--we're rethinking where and how we are to "go" globally.

A growing influence upon our RETHINKING is an organization called Servants. To know more of what is on our heart---and the way in which believe God is leading, convicting, and shaping us to live both in Oklahoma City and Globally--you can check out Servants values. While we are not affiliated with Servant---we encourage others to check out and consider the work they have been doing. We believe they are doing something that we, in the Christ-following community MUST take notice and learn.
